This seminar is designed for superintendents, administrators, principals, special education directors, teachers, guidance counselors, case managers, school board members, attorneys and others involved in the legal aspects of schools.
The No Child Left Behind Act of 2001, signed by the President in January of this year, has the objective of drastically reforming the Elementary and Secondary Education Act, which will require modifications to fundamental educational policies and decisions. This one-day seminar will provide participants with a greater understanding of the programs and changes included in the Act. Discussions will focus on the Act’s key provisions, including the terms that focus on accountability, create increased flexibility and local control, expand parental options and provide supplemental services, and emphasize quality teaching methods.
