Syllabus:
This seminar is designed for project managers, contractors, subcontractors, presidents and vice presidents, architects, engineers, facilities and maintenance managers, consultants, insurance professionals, developers and attorneys.
This program is designed for the construction or design professional, risk manager, claims professional, developer or project manager involved in construction of large-scale residential or commercial construction. The program is designed to discuss and analyze the engineering and construction issues underlying much of the construction defect litigation today, including, but not limited to mold litigation. The program will discuss water intrusion, design and specification defects and product issues. We will focus on issues of insurance coverage, and claims handling. Finally, we will discuss ways in which to avoid the “Velcro” effect of construction defect litigation, by successful preparation and dispute resolution.
