records grows, it is imperative that health care providers stay on top of
current laws. This seminar is designed to provide you with a solid understanding
of what constitutes a medical record and the laws governing access to records,
paying special attention to the ethical considerations in how to maintain and
disseminate them. The faculty will revisit the HIPAA privacy rules that can
