This one-day seminar is designed to provide participants with the knowledge and skills to appropriately respond to crisis situations which may be potentially violent in the workplace.
At the completion of the course, the participant will be able to:
State factors of verbal and nonverbal communication which may escalate and de-escalate crisis situations.
Distinguish between therapeutic vs. non-therapeutic techniques of intervention.
Cite the levels of anxiety escalation and the appropriate interventions.
