This seminar is designed for principals, special education directors, psychologists, teachers, guidance counselors, social workers, school board members and attorneys.
If you are a school official or represent school districts or children and their parents, and are interested in the growing area of school law, you need to attend this seminar about the Individuals with Disabilities Education Act (“IDEA”).
IDEA provides eligible disabled students the right to free appropriate public education and allows parents the right to challenge school districts’ provision of this education in administrative and judicial forums.
The panel will provide opportunity for dialogue among attendees regarding philosophies and policies that will result in successful outcomes for persons with disabilities.
