Sales and Use Tax for Manufacturers in Ohio
Overview
No matter the size or type of operations, all
Ohio manufacturers are required to comply with Ohio's complex and ever-changing
sales and use tax laws.
Register today for this unique opportunity to listen to, and interact with, two
of Ohio's most experienced sales and use tax professionals.
Attendees of this intermediate-level Ohio sales and use tax forum, developed
exclusively for Ohio manufacturers, have the opportunity to participate in the
analysis and discussion of case studies and practical examples. This will allow
attendees to better understand Ohio's complex sales and use tax statutes, rules,
audit policies, mitigate future audit risk, and identify tax refunds.
This forum will also provide attendees with the opportunity to obtain answers to
specific Ohio sales and use tax questions about manufacturing operations as well
as provide useful tax minimization strategies. Attendees will learn what types
of machinery, equipment, and other purchase transactions are subject to Ohio
sales and use tax and which are exempt.

Credits
This course has been reviewed and approved for
inclusion in the Certificate of Accounting Compliance Program and qualifies for
1.0 credit.
This course has been approved by the Ohio Supreme Court Commission on Continuing
Legal Education for 6.75 CLE credit hours.
Participants who successfully complete this program will receive 6.5 hours of
continuing education. They may be applied toward ISM CPSM, CPSD or C.P.M.
recertification. ISM's consent to approve hours for this educational event is
not an endorsement of this program or its content by ISM.
This course has been approved by the Ohio Supreme Court Commission on Continuing
Legal Education for 6.75 New Lawyers Training credit hours.

State boards of accountancy have final authority on the acceptance of individual

a 50 minute credit hour). You must attend at least 50 minutes to obtain credit.
