This seminar will give a nuts and bolts overview of the drafting, negotiating and finalizing of asset and stock purchase agreements; shareholder agreements (for corporations) and operating agreements (for limited liability companies); and employment agreements for executives and other key employees. The speakers will outline the key provisions of each of these significant business agreements and explain how to maximize their value to businesses. They will share insightful tips on errors and mistakes to avoid and discuss the roles business owners, attorneys and accountants can play in crafting effective agreements. The program will conclude with a discussion of professionalism and ethics in the business transaction practice.
