WORKPLACE DIVERSITY - ONLINE 24/7 Self-Paced Training
Diversity has taken on a new importance in the workplace. Workplace Diversity training is an opportunity to educate employees about diversity. Employees bring their stereotypes and preconceived notions to work with them. Diversity training cannot completely change an individual΄s beliefs. It does increase awareness, impart knowledge, educate how to accept differences, break down barriers that separate, and help employees work together and be productive as a team. Diversity training may help prevent unlawful discrimination and harassment violations as a result of breaking down barriers and promoting better teamwork.
This WORKPLACE DIVERSITY course will give participants the tools to:
Understand what is Diversity, and related history, terms and concepts. Understand stereotypes and biases, and the reasons for self-perspectives. Identify strategies for removing workplace and social community barriers. Use active listening and questioning skills, and communicate with strength. Understand the importance of body language in interpersonal communications. Identify ways to encourage workplace diversity and discourage discrimination. Understand how to respond to personal situations. Understand the formal complaint, investigation and resolution process Identify steps to a healthy workplace.
