Training Course Syllabus:

In today's modern world of marketing, there isn't a choice--you will succeed or fail based on the marketing program you initiate. And, because health care marketing is constantly changing, it is important to sharpen your skills and stay competitive. You must continually update and increase your marketing focus if you are to survive and thrive.

This seminar provides the latest information the rehab and therapy professional needs to understand modern marketing techniques, concepts and strategies. You will quickly learn how to evaluate your organization's marketing, advertising and public relations efforts, including where and how to improve your results. You'll discover and understand why patient retention is a key to your success; how, when and where to advertise and what your message should contain; and when branding comes into the marketing mix. Examine how "Cause Marketing" plays an increasingly important role in your future planning and how cost-effective public relations enhance your image. Most importantly, at the end of the seminar, you will recognize and appreciate the significance of effective marketing in your facility and service.

  • Develop a marketing plan for your organization
  • Examine how marketing is a force for patient retention
  • Discover the role that "Baby Boomers" play in the future of your rehab and therapy practice
  • Identify how to increase physician, case manager and employer referrals
  • Explore the advantages and disadvantages of each advertising medium and the basic skills to make them work for you
