Events Re-scheduled by PEICE
For infrequent occurrences when a course must be re-scheduled by the Petroleum Institute for Continuing Education, fees payable to change "travel dates" for non-refundable tickets (up to a maximum of $100US) will be reimbursed to participants who choose to re-register for future sessions. Registrants will be refunded in the same manner for which the event was paid. A receipt for payment of the "travel date change" fees will be required from participants. The Petroleum Institute for Continuing Education does not accept any further liability for travel and accommodation expenses which may be incurred as a result of a course cancellation.
In-House Courses
Fees for in-house courses are available upon request on the course page. Once dates for in-house courses have been approved, an invoice for a non-refundable deposit equal to 50% of anticipated fees, along with all other agreed-upon terms, will be submitted to the client, via email, by the Petroleum Institute for Continuing Education. Commencing on the invoice date, the course dates will be "temporarily on hold" on the instructor's calendar for a maximum of 30 days. Course dates are automatically confirmed if payment is received within 30 days. Should payment remain outstanding after 30 days, the dates will be automatically released from the instructor's calendar. Payment received later than 30 days from invoice date does not guarantee instructor availability. Should the instructor be unavailable after the 30 day period has elapsed, payment will be returned to the client or the event will be re-scheduled to a mutually agreeable date. A final invoice will be issued upon completion of the event.
