provide a blueprint for a successful restorative nursing program with practical
advice, examples, and a realistic time frame. In addition, participants will be

BONNIE G. FOSTER, RN, BSN, MEd, an
independent long-term care consultant, has been working in geriatric care for
nearly 40 years. Her varied work history includes positions as a CAN, charge
nurse, teacher, staff development coordinator, director of nursing, and state
nurse surveyor for federal long-term care. She has won numerous awards ranging
from Outstanding Teacher to a monetary award for outstanding achievements in
Two of her key skill areas are organizing nursing departments and teaching
leadership skills to new nursing home administrators. A recognized expert in the
area of care plans, Ms. Foster is a frequent lecturer for numerous facilities
