Companies continually struggle with quality issues throughout their Supply Chain. Unfortunately, these issues are usually addressed on a reactive basis, using short term solutions, and lacking in data-based techniques to fully analyze and resolve the issue. A great many techniques, tools, and processes have been utilized across industries to take a more systematic and comprehensive approach to resolve these issues, but the core need is to pursue Operational Excellence. Operational Excellence is much bigger than solving quality issues.
