Emotional Freedom Techniques (Meridian Tapping): Interventions to Reduce Anxiety, Pain, and Emotional Dysregulation to Improve Clinical Outcomes

PROGRAM DESCRIPTION

Emotional Freedom Technique is a remarkable new self–healing technique that uses your body's natural stress reduction points to produce rapid change. Stimulation of these points by touching or tapping has been scientifically demonstrated to quickly reduce stress, anxiety, depression, and pain. EFT also has the potential to improve your mood, boost vitality, and dramatically improve your performance at work, school, sports, losing weight, stopping smoking or other habits, and in the management of anger. It can be used with pediatrics, adults, as well as geriatrics. EFT has been shown to assist with geriatric performance of ADLs, increasing attention to task in emotionally dysregulated children, and used for anger management in military and trauma patients. EFT has been written about in national magazines and the Wall Street Journal.

With this meaningful seminar, you will learn a variety of simple yet dynamic techniques to release unwanted emotions (fear, anger, anxiety, frustration, sadness, etc.), as well as physical tension/pain. Learn to release these stresses in minutes. You will walk away with information about the science behind EFT, how it works (a basic simple formula), how to apply it to yourself, your clients, and coworkers.

WHAT YOU WILL LEARN

•Review the history and theory of EFT

•Demonstrate steps of the basic EFT formula

•Articulate the benefits and usage of EFT in relation to maximizing functional outcomes

•Identify how to use EFT for physical pain

•Describe how to use EFT to regulate emotions

•Apply EFT for self–management
