Advanced Myofascial & Deep Tissue Massage Techniques

PROGRAM DESCRIPTION

In this lab–intensive course, Dr. Ben Benjamin will show you how to quickly and effectively pinpoint the pain producing structures with specific, effective musculoskeletal palpation skills. In this 95% hands–on course, you will learn how to palpate the 21 pain–producing cervical ligaments, and the 15 low back ligaments that cause chronic pain. You will also practice hands–on techniques designed to support treatment of the most common soft–tissue injuries in the neck and low back. His very detailed myofascial and deep tissue massage techniques are first demonstrated, then practiced as techniques that address both scar tissue and chronic muscle tension. You will leave this lab–intensive course with accessible tools to eliminate pain and restore function and range of motion to your client's neck and low back.

•Perform myofascial techniques on cervical scar tissue

•Apply deep tissue massage techniques in the cervical region
