Objective
 This workshop has been called, “the only one of its kind in the world”, because the objective is to help Executives optimize their entire sales operation, including those operations whose interface to sales is critical. This is accomplished by helping executives understand the areas in their sales and channel operation causing sub-optimal performance. Then – by showing executives a systematic, proven, best practices driven method – helping them determine the practices they should use to achieve optimal performance.

Normally a 2-day workshop, this half-day seminar focuses on the common areas of sub-optimal performance and associated best practices, along with the systematic method they can utilize to overcome those deficiencies.

Description
During the workshop we will review the characteristics of sub-optimal sales operations. In so doing we will work with Executives to help them establish their organization’s baseline set of sub-optimal characteristics that contribute to revenue loss, high cost, and other operational inefficiencies.

 With their baselines in mind, we will review very specific world’s best practices, including key metrics that Executives should strive to achieve, reflecting an optimized sales operation.

 Executives will then be in a position to make decisions on practices to adopt and/or customize. Finally, we will review action plans designed for field execution and work with Executives to help them develop a custom plan for their operation.

  • Conduct an exercise to determine sub-optimal practices impacting your sales operation

    • Executive Leadership Best Practices, such as defining and driving a productive sales culture top-down, and accurate opportunity-based forecasting
    • Sales Management Best Practices, such opportunity assessment, pipeline and forecast management, and measurable seller performance improvement
    • Channel Management Best Practices, such as how to get an accurate view into partner opportunities, needs they have to drive more revenue, and forecast information
    • Sales Best Practices
  • Conduct an exercise to help you make Best Practice adoption decisions for your sales operation
