Training Course
Syllabus:
Participants will receive in-depth instruction on techniques for developing an effective application narrative, preparing a budget, and avoiding common grant writing pitfalls. There is also opportunity for hands-on drafting and critiquing practice. Participants will examine examples of both funded and rejected proposals in order to understand how to package proposals and what to expect during the review process.
This course is Level 2 of the eCivis certification program.

Leticia Jones, Seminar & Training Manager
Leticia Jones is the lead trainer for the Grants Professional Seminars. She has worked extensively with local, state, and Federal government agencies and nonprofits for the last 8 years. Leticia has successfully written and managed grants from a number of Federal agencies, and is highly experienced in all areas of the grant process from pre- to post-award.
As a Project Manager for the City of Jacksonville, Florida, Leticia managed more than 100 capital improvement park projects ranging in size from $20,000 to $4.5 million. She also managed more than $68 million in grant dollars, of which she had a 95% success rate in acquiring $22.9 million.

$1,685.00 (First day will cover management; second day will cover compliance. For purposes of certification, attendees must attend both days.)
*Certificate is awarded with completion of all four tracks. Please note this is the order of courses that will provide you with the greatest benefit. If, for scheduling or other reasons, you cannot take the courses in this order, you will still benefit from each. However, taking courses out of order may mean that you receive introductory instruction on a topic after you've already had the in-depth instruction on that topic in another course. |
