Training Course Syllabus:


This presentation is designed to give the attendee both and 'outsider' and 'insider' understanding of the various components that make up the drug trade in Cincinnati, Ohio. Attendees will become familiar with identifying and recognizing the prominent illegal drugs in the area and with the signs that might indicate the presence of traffickers and/or users. Attendees will learn how to implement canine searches as well as how to use an undercover operative. Attendees will gain insight on the current research on teen substance abuse, the progression of teen substance abuse and the therapeutic community approach to treatment of chemically dependent adolescents.
